| With the state budget
cuts families have lost financial aid for their care and are
now left with the option of low-quality care or going back on the
welfare system. This will mean that Welfare Reform
failed. In June of 2002 the state budget was cut 1.1 million
dollars for childcare funds. In January 2003 another 422
children in Gallatin Valley will loose their care with the further
cuts that are slotted. We are a Non-profit foundation whose
mission is to help low income families with scholarship grants in
their child care center facility of choice. We advocate
parents a right to work and support their families. With the
high cost of living, entry level jobs do not always pay enough for a
family to support their needs and child care. This is where we
offer a grant to help give families a leg up so that they can work
and pay for childcare.
GCCSF, Inc would like to make a difference
for these families. We would like to offer these families help
with their child care costs and an alternative to welfare.
We are asking that you support this
worthwhile cause. A gift donation in any amount would be
appreciated and last in the lives of the little one's touched
forever. You gift is tax deductible and we will send you a
receipt.
Thank you from Gallatin Valley's
Children,
